There is often a disconnect when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle; we know what’s good for our bodies, but we don’t always act accordingly. The Grateful Ginger aims to mend the gap between knowing and doing, by catering to each individual's unique circumstances. Whether it is weight loss or weight management, managing a dietary condition, or developing a healthy relationship with food, The Grateful Ginger offers a variety of services and packages designed to meet your needs.

A Unique Philosophy
The main force behind The Grateful Ginger is a deep desire to help individuals achieve their long-term diet and nutrition goals. Whether you’re seeking help with weight loss, sports nutrition, or disease prevention, each client is individually evaluated by a professional Nutritionist and provided with a well-researched and comprehensive plan they can follow for the rest of their lives.

About Me
"The first wealth is health".
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
I have always tried to live a relatively healthy lifestyle, but it wasn't until I started working in the healthcare field that I realized the need for more healthy lifestyle education in our society. I decided I wanted to truly empower people to heal themselves with whole foods and active lifestyles changes instead of simply prolonging their "sick care".
I don't love the word "diet". When people say things like, "I'm on a diet", it implies that they are only eating a certain way to punish themselves for eating incorrectly previously.
I prefer to think of it as "adopting a new lifestyle". The motivation should be your overall health. Your class reunion, or swimsuit season, or your clothes not fitting, or (cringe) the number on the scale can certainly be catalysts, but don't make those your only motivation.
Getting to a place where your body feels good as a whole is PRICELESS. There is no end date for that. It's a lifestyle. To improve your LIFE.
I am currently pursuing my Master's in Applied Clinical Nutrition at New York Chiropractic College and I'm ALMOST finished! I have learned so much from this program, and even more from real life experience!
I have been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for eleven years. The more I've trained, the more I've seen that our lifestyle choices have more to do with our current emotional state, and our previous emotional/psychological experiences than most people realize. We must work through and conquer those things before we can truly embrace lasting change. I want to provide you a safe environment to discuss those experiences, so that you can encounter true metamorphosis.
